Our new house

Since I spent most of the day yesterday doing chores and yard work I was unable to get a layout done. So I decided to post up some pictures of our new house here in Pleasant Grove. We are almost done with all the renovating. Paint, wood floors, carpet, knocking walls open and appliances are done. We still have lighting on the main floor and bathroom fixtures/sinks to do but that will be done soon.

This is the front, after uncovering the tree and shrubs from years of neglect I think it looks pretty nice.

Here is the kitchen, love that I now have a bar and the girls love to "sit up on the high stools" to have their lunch. I love my new appliances! Oh, don't worry about the Fairy princess party decorations that Abby has been putting up all morning for her sister's and dolls to have after lunch, yes she is too creative for her own good!

This is the front room, pretty much the same as our old place, Paul and my Dad did a great job on the floors!

Here is our Master, love the bay window and absolutly love my "chocolate" wall and drapes (thanks Jerianne for the idea!)

This is our back yard in progress. Landscaping will have to wait until next year, the funds are zapped, but not to bad concidering. The girls love having all this room to play in. They can swing, run around like butterflies, and dig in the sandbox(well plant flowers/sticks, and create scenes with the farm animals, they are such girls!).
Hope you all have a great day!

work, work, work!

So today is one of my least favorite days, chore day. It is really quite sad that I put it off, and put it off until a beautiful friday don't you think? So after cleaning bathrooms, floors, and starting in on the mountain of laundry that has been neglected, maybe I can take the girls outside to play in the sunshine and water! As for now here is my layout, another one of cute Anthony for Abby's book. I just loved this fun template by Tracy Drane, and Danielle Young's mini kit "Bungalow". Also, I added in the ripped paper from a Tracy Sims Template. Brandon and Jen have the cutest kids, just look at those smiles on Lauryn and Matthew - too cute!

I did have to include this funny out-take of the whole photo session, leave it to Liv to get nervous and stick her finger up her nose!!

Hope your Friday is Great!

Happy Thursday!

Well the day has been going pretty well. I was able to get Paul dropped off at work, Eva down for a nap, take a shower and get my hair and make-up done all before noon! Then we went up to visit our friends the Conroy's to let the girls run around and play together while us moms had some needed adult conversation! It was a wonderfully relaxing afternoon. This layout I am putting up today features my newest little nephew Anthony. My sister-in-law had him on mother's day(not a bad gift!)and he is just the cutest little guy(well let's be honest, every little baby boy is the cutest to me because I don't have one of my own to compare it to!)and I loved creating this layout using boy colors. Well I did have to sneak one flower in there!!
I hope everyone has a good rest of the day!

Albums are up!

I finally was able to get the albums all uploaded and linked. So feel free to check them out and find the pages that include some of you!!! I was also able to complete this cute layout of Eva's first food. I used a Kay Miller Kit called Mixed Vegetables and a template by Doreen Stolz. I love the little ribbon with carrots on it, so adorable! I think it turned out just perfect. Eva did so well starting on solids that day and I still smile when I see the look on her cute face!

A long night

So, as many of you know, Paul and Abby were in a terrible car accident a couple of weeks ago. Lets just say it involved the freeway,a semi, and total destruction of Paul's car. I am more than thankful that they are alive and unharmed, truly a miracle they walked away. Anyway I say this because Paul and Will have spent many long hours working on a car from our neighbors that they practically gave us to help get Paul back on the road. It needs a new transmission which is proving to be a lot of work(well finding a transmission that actually works is). The two of them were out in my garage until 2:30am last night! But on the bright side it gave me all evening to work on some layouts without interruption! So here is my mother's day layout. It was a wonderful day spent with my girls, wonderful mother-in-law, and that evening we had dinner with my mom and family. Such wonderful women in my life, it was wonderful to celebrate all that I have.
By the way if any of you are interested in the products that I have used just let me know! Today, if I have time, I will try to get my album links up and running. Thanks to Audrey for telling me how that is done!!!
love to all!

Welcome everyone!

Well I have officially become a blogger. Bare with me as I get the page set up the way that I would like. I have decided that it is a great way for me to share all my digital pages with family and friends. Feel free to leave me comments on my work because I love feedback! Here is my latest page that I completed yesterday, I just love how it turned out.
